News / Joint workshop by the Armenian Insurers Union and and the Central Bank of Armenia took place in Vienna

On June 26, the Armenian Insurers Union jointly organized a workshop on “Directions of the Development of the RA Insurance System” in Vienna, the capital of Austria, with the Central Bank of Armenia.

The workshop was attended by Armen Nurbekyan, Deputy Governor of the Central Bank; Tamara Habetyan, Executive Director of the Armenian Insurers Union, as well as heads of insurance companies operating in the Republic of Armenia and other representatives of the Central Bank.

During the workshop, the Executive Director of the Armenian Insurers Union presented the Union’s vision for the development of the RA insurance system, as well as the main directions of the Union’s activities in the coming years. During the meeting, possible legislative reforms in the insurance sector and the need for their implementation were also discussed.

A broad discussion took place among the workshop participants on the presented reports, as a result of which the priorities for the development of the insurance system and the measures to be implemented under them were outlined.

The Union of Insurers of Armenia attaches importance to holding such events, which serve as a platform for constructive and effective discussions with the regulatory body.
